📢 About the position:
As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for leading and scaling the sales organization, driving new business growth, and revenue optimization. Your focus will be on executing a high-performance Customer Centric sales strategy, ensuring alignment with revenue targets, and optimizing sales processes and team effectiveness to accelerate growth.
This role requires a data-driven, strategic, and hands-on leader who can develop strong sales methodologies, coaching frameworks, and scalable processes to drive sustained revenue growth. The Head of Sales will work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to ensure a seamless go-to-market approach.
🎯 Key responsibilities:
Sales leadership and strategy
- Execute a data-driven sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
- Define and optimize the sales playbook, methodologies, and best practices to improve win rates.
- Build and maintain a scalable, repeatable sales process that ensures predictability in revenue generation.
- Ensure sales team alignment with company goals, GTM strategy, and revenue operations models.
- Support the segmentation strategy, ensuring efficient resource allocation for new business acquisition.
Revenue growth and sales performance
- Drive new business acquisition within own accounts.
- Optimize sales pipeline management, forecasting, and deal velocity to accelerate conversions, for yourself and your team.
- Improve sales efficiency and productivity, ensuring sales reps meet and exceed quotas.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to increase Average Contract Value
- Work closely with Marketing and Sales Development to refine lead qualification criteria (MQL, SQL) and improve conversion rates.
Team leadership and talent development
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing sales team with a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Implement structured coaching, mentorship, and regular 1:1 meetings to improve sales rep performance.
- Define and execute clear team KPIs that drive motivation and revenue impact.
- Ensure continuous skill development through training programs and sales enablement.
Operational excellence and process optimization
- Optimize CRM usage (we use the full HubSpot suite) to track pipeline, performance, and customer engagement.
- Enhance sales automation and analytics to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
- Establish and refine sales enablement processes, ensuring the team has the right tools and insights to succeed.
- Align with Revenue Operations and Finance to ensure sales performance is accurately measured and reported.
Cross-functional collaboration and GTM execution
- Partner with Marketing to align demand generation, lead nurturing, and content strategies with sales objectives.
- Work closely with Professional Services and Customer Success to optimize customer handoff processes and ensure high retention rates.
- Collaborate with Product teams to relay customer insights, ensuring product-market fit is continually refined.
- Contribute to pricing and packaging strategies, ensuring competitiveness and revenue optimization.
🏆 Qualifications and experience:
- Proven track record in leading and scaling sales teams in a B2B SaaS or technology-driven environment.
- Strong experience in new business sales, account management, and revenue expansion strategies.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with experience in building, mentoring, and coaching high-performance teams.
- Strong analytical mindset, with expertise in pipeline management, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Deep understanding of modern sales methodologies, including consultative selling, Customer Centric, or Challenger Sales.
- Experience with CRM systems (ideally HubSpot) and sales enablement tools.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Product teams to align sales efforts.
